Primus RG6 Dual Shield CM Coaxial Cable, 18 AWG CCS, AL Foil Bonded + 60% AL Braid, 1000', Black or White
Description
Dual Shielded CM RG6 Coax Cable, AL Foil + 60% AL Braid for Digital HDTV and CATV
Our RG6 Coaxial Cable is commonly used for wiring satellite, digital CATV and HDTV television networking since it requires higher level of shielding for signal retention. The RG6 coax cable has a denser jacketing and thicker conductor then RG59, so it can transfer data at double the speed. We supply RG6 dual shield and quad shield cable to maximize signal retention for even sharper, clearer digital pictures. The RG6 Coaxial Cable tops out at 75 Ohms and sweep tested at 3GHz.
Applications
Coaxial Cable is used to transmit radio frequency energy. The advantage of coaxial is that the electromagnetic field carrying the signal occurs only in the space between the inner and outer conductors. With that said, it allows the cable to be installed next to metal objects without power loss. Coaxial Cable also provides protection of the signal from external electromagnetic interference. Coaxial Cables connects radio transmitters and receivers to their antennas, computer network (Internet) connections, digital audio (S/PDIF), and distributing cable television signals.
Product Quality
Our high quality RG6 Coaxial Cable consists of an 18 AWG solid Copper Clad Steel (CCS) inner conductor that transmits the signal. It is wrapped in a dielectric polyethylene insulation. This RG6 dual shielded coaxial cable comes with aluminum foil bonded and 60% aluminum braided shield. This is covered with a CL2 flame rated PVC jacket. Our cables are UL listed and RoHS Compliant.
Where to use Coaxial Cable
A broad range of applications exist for coaxial cabling. It is widely used with home entertainment equipment such as Cable Television (CATV), Digital HDTV, Audio / Video, and Digital Satellite. It is also used with security cameras, and GPS Systems.
